Video of Shirtless Robert Pattinson New Moon Kiss in Italy

Earlier this week pictures surfaced of the shirtless Robert Pattinson kiss scene filmed in Montepulciano, Italy for New Moon, and now video has surfaced if you really want to see it. The video’s not of the highest quality, but the audio alone is a bit spinetingly. You can check out the video at Radar Online.

Kitze's NOTE: When I saw this video, i literally almost fell out of the bed. It was AMAZING. I think even though the location may not have been the same as the one in the book, the other aspects of the scene is BETTER than what we all expected. It's just a five minute clip but it gave me goosebumps. I still have them now...five minutes after watching the video. It's worth it. Trust me. :D

Montepulciano New Moon Extra Reveals Shooting Details

Check out this amazing account from an extra on the set of New Moon on their experience so far on the set–

The crew was very quick and organized, and divided all the extras into groups: “the drivers”, “the reds”, and “the blacks”. We felt like the prey of the production company. They then offered us breakfast, which I was grateful for since my stomach was complaining more than Rosalie. Me and all the other drivers (there were about a hundred of us), were then told to park in the front of the main entrance of the town, where a yellow Porsche was also parked! My God, what a beautiful car! The rest of the extras were taken inside the city wall, where they would be shooting the reunion between Edward and Bella later in the week.

The wait was unnerving. And extremely long. In the meantime, we learned the shooting schedule: Monday is rehearsals, Tuesday inside the city again, Wednesday and Thursday in the city square (Where there is expected to be 1000 extras), and Friday was for any needed reshoots. While I was waiting, I saw a really pretty girl with brown hair in jeans and t-shirt. For a second I thought it was Kristen Stewart, but then I realized it was her stunt double. The similarities between the two was striking, especially from behind.

At around 10pm, it’s our turn. When arrived in front of the door, Chris Weitz’s assistant, Bill, arranged the order of all the cars. Every time he looked at me and my car, he smiled. They then began tests with the Porsche, with Bella’s and Alice’s stunt doubles. And here’s the funny part: Alice had a stunt MAN, instead of a woman. He was wearing a headscarf, sunglasses, a red leather glove and a long grey coat with big silver buttons. Bella’s stunt double, instead, was dressed very simply, wearing only a green sweater and jeans.

The tests of the Porsche were seemingly never-ending, they really wanted it to be perfect. They did not overlook even the smallest detail: everything -from the placement of the car to all the car sounds- had to be just right. They even were overly careful with all the red flags placed around Montepulciano. The crew was sweaty and shouting us to get in our places, to which we obliged. Bill (Weitz’s assistant) was always calm and smiling, every once in a while stopping to talk to us on set.

New Moon director Chris Weitz was spotted in Montepulciano, Italy planning out how to shoot some scenes with production crews. Check out the pic and video from Yunfa. She says–

The director of New Moon, Chris Weitz in the little Montepulciano, having a pre-production meeting with the crew. They were discussing about shots and frames, where to film and how to do it.
When he got out of the car I said “Hi Chris”, he answered and to my “It’s pretty hot in here, huh?!” added a “Yes it is!”

Dual Yellow Porsches and Production Tent in Montepulciano, Italy

A visitor to Montepulciano Italy captured these shots of the fabled twin set of yellow Porsches for Alice's faithful drive in New Moon. They are parked near a production area which seems to be busy with a tent of crew members working behind the scenes.

There is the clock tower at midday, a newly installed gutter, and a pictures of a statue taken today in the city hall.

It seems that it could be of a saint or something of that kind.

Official News on New Moon Italy Shoot from Montepulciano

Eagle Pictures, the distributors of New Moon in Italy, have just sent out a press release confirming a lot of what we know about the filming schedule and details in Montepulciano. Here’s an English translation of the original–

In a few days to complete the cast arrives in Italy to turn Montepulciano two chapters in the book NEW MOON, second episode of the Twilight saga, is set in Volterra. The course will be set blindatissimo.

Tomorrow [today, ndr.] Pattinson flying from Cannes to Rome. Then will drive to Montepulciano. Filming Italian start on set May 26 and end on 29th This is the cast list of a hill

• Robert Pattinson - Edward
• Ashley Greene - Alice Cullen
• Daniel Cudmore - FELIX - Volturi
• Charlie Bewley - DEMETRA - Volturi
• Dakota Fanning - JANE - Volturi

On May 30 there will be in Montepulciano a gathering of all the Italian twilighters, expected more than 5,000 girls. Many are from ‘broad there are those who come even from Japan. There is no longer a free hotel within a radius of 20 km.

Meanwhile, the historic center of Montepulciano is preparing to receive the set.

L ‘Androne Hall Michelozzo attributed to the great Florentine Renaissance architect, and the famous cloister were painted dark red, under the attentive eyes of the technicians and the’ administration. For weeks the girls will file photograph in front of the ‘hall.

Piazza Grande was just the fountain described in the book, it is 7 meters long and e of wood and paper.

Red-Suited Extras Start to Appear in Montepulciano for New Moon

The faux St. Marcus Day Festival in New Moon, which will involve up to 1500 extras, has begun to ramp up. Extras in red garb have started appearing on the streets, as recent pics from TwilightersItalia show. They say–

Each one of them was clad in red. Hoods, robes, t-shirt, caps…everything was red! They couldn’t really say anyhing because the producers have told them that if they were caught they would be expelled from the set and nobody wants to lose the chance to be in the movie.

It’s said that this afternoon there was a little commotion and they think Robert Pattinson was there, but nobody would say that plainly. There are no pictures of him at the airport because he went out through a side exit allowed to the airport staff only.

Today the porsche crew finished working and, from what we understood, tomorrow Robert Pattinson himself will shoot some scene, maybe something related to Edward’s desperation before the Volturi’s verdict.

It won’t be Kristen Stewart to jump in the fountain but her stunt double, an Italian girl. Right now, Alan Cappelli, the stunt double for Robert Pattinson is waiting in his car to be called to set. We don’t know though what scene they’ll shoot.

Robert Pattinson Arrives in Italy, Fountain Tested

According to the fine folks over at TwilightersItalia, Robert Pattinson arrived in Rome at the Fiumicino Airport on his way to Montepulciano at 12:30pm local time, which works out to 6:30am EST. He’s already made his way to Tuscany.

In other news from Montepulciano, the new fountain was given a trial run with water to prep for shooting the film. TwilightersItalia says–

Also today, they’re shooting in the centre of the city, our friends told us that the Porsche was actually there this morning. With a bit of luck we’ll have some pictures to share of that too later.

The Italian shoot is really starting to ramp up! Anyone else as excited as me?
