Wolf Pack Hanging out in Vancouver Restaurant

Gil Birmingham, who plays the father of Jacob Black in New Moon, uploaded an awesome new pic to his MySpace page of him hanging out with some of the other New Moon wolf pack boys from back when they were filming up in Vancouver.

New Moon Poster for the Volturi, Official Poster Mashup

There aren’t any official New Moon posters for the Voltur yeti, so NMM.org reader TalieX decided to give it a go. I think it’s a fresh and unique approach–what do you guys think? Native American Lore and the New Moon Werewolves

Deadbolt has an article exploring some of the legends among Native American tribes that relate to the Quileute lore of shapeshifters/werewolves found in the tribe of New Moon–

Although the Quileute tribe is said to be descended from wolves, there are a variety of Native North American tribes that have similar folklore in their rich lineage. The Navajo tribe (also known as the Navajo nation), the largest tribe in the United States, has a legend that is almost akin to the werewolf clan in the Twilight Saga. The Navajo version of the werewolf originates from the “Skinwalker” who actually attains the power to shape-shift. But in order to acquire the “evil” abilities of these shape-shifters, tribe members, as the legend goes, must kill a family member. On the other hand, the Quileute legend is much less gruesome as a Skinwalker is said to have encountered a wolf and then transformed it into a human being, thus the legend’s origins.

Taylor Lautner Jumps over Hydrant in the Vancouver Rain

New Moon star Taylor Lautner jumps over a fire hydrant in the Vancouver rain in some new Punkd photos over at LaineyGossip. He’s like a Jacob Black superhero in real life!

These are some beautiful shots of Taylor yesterday afternoon running through the rain in Vancouver. He’d popped out during lunch with Selena Gomez and her co-star Hutch Dano to pick up something at the corner store. Enjoy.
